SQuAD Forging India Private Ltd is a tripartite Joint Venture Company for Closed-die forging in India with a partnership between QuEST Global Manufacturing India Limited (India), Aubert & Duval SA (ERAMET Group, France) and Setforge Societe Nouvelle S A S, (FARINIA Group, France)
Located in QuEST Global Precision Engineering SEZ, this green field facility will initially start with a Screw press and a Hydraulic press along with all the associated heat treatment, inspection and finishing equipments. The company will benefit from the availability of highly qualified personnel at competitive costs. And there is also a projection to invest on a third line of Hammer.
SQuAD primarily aims at the aerospace market to support major OEMs in their supply chain while contributing to their offset obligations. It will focus on aero structural parts, landing gear and braking system components in aluminium, steel, titanium or nickel base alloys for the aerospace market. SQuAD will also handle products for other markets such as highly critical parts for automotive, power generation and oil & gas.
This investment complements closed-die forging facilities already existing at Aubert & Duval (such as the 22000T, 40000T and 65000T hydraulic presses) and Setforge (3000T hydraulic press and up to 250 kJ counterblow hammers). A value added chain will be offered to our customers, including machining by QuEST Global Manufacturing and surface treatment by Aerospace Processing India Pvt. Ltd., readily available in this zone.
